Safeguarding

St Barnabas is committed to the highest standards of safeguarding. If you have any concerns about safeguarding at St Barnabas, please contact the Parish Safeguarding Officer, Ali Ward (ali@st-barnabas.net), the Assistant Parish Safeguarding Officer, Fiona Fletcher (fiona@st-barnabas.net). The vicar, Revd Dr David Goodhew, can be contacted via david@st-barnabas.net or 01642 817306.

If you would like to speak to someone independent, you can contact the Diocese of York’s safeguarding team, or contact Thirtyone:eight’s independent hotline. In an emergency, especially if someone is in immediate danger of harm, you should always call 999 straight away and ask for the police.

You can read our Parish Safeguarding Policy and the Parish Safeguarding Handbook here.
