From creation to completion, the Bible tells the story of God’s plan to restore his world through Jesus, calling us to belong to him and share in his mission. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking to deepen your understanding, join us each month as we discover more of God’s story and our place within it.
Over 9 sessions we will cover a part of this plan following the pattern of the Apostles Creed: (1) Who is God, (2) Who is Jesus (3) What has he done for us, and (4) What he is doing and will do.
Each session we will open up the bible looking at it in its whole to understand what God says about himself and his creation. The sessions are:
1. Who is God? The Trinity
2. Who is God? Creator and Covenant
3. The Incarnation: Humankind
4. The Incarnation: The Christ
5. The Incarnation: Scripture
6. Atonement
7. New Creation: Christ’s Kingdom
8: New Creation: Salvation
9: New Creation: The Church
The monthly sessions will start on Sunday 26th October at 1pm, over a bring-your-own lunch. For more information please contact Rev James Cawdell on james@st-barnabas.net.
