Feast of Fun

Feast of Fun

Join us from Monday 12th – Friday 16th August for fun activities for primary school-aged children. We’ll be looking at the Bible story of Noah, with an animal theme for our games and crafts. Every day will involve FREE food for the whole family.

Here’s what to expect on a Feast of Fun Day:
When children arrive at the church hall our hospitality team will get them signed in. If they don’t have a signed consent form, a parent or carer will need to bring them along to sign the forms for us. Then we will head through to the hall, have a snack and work on a collage together in our teams while we wait for everyone to arrive. This will be a good chance to get to know the children and adults in our teams. After that we’ll hear about the theme of the day.  The bible story for the week is the story of Noah and every day will have an animal theme. Then it will be time in our groups doing a craft activity, before heading out outside (if the weather is good) for games, and to work up an appetite ready for lunch! At 12 noon we’re inviting parents and carers, and younger siblings to come and join us for our Community Lunch. There will be tasty, healthy food, with a couple of options to cater to different preferences. All food will be vegetarian (although there will be fish). This will be a great chance for us all to get to know each other, and have a good catch-up about what we’ve been up to in the morning.
