Getting away for a weekend together as a church is a great way to build community. That’s been hard to do for several years. So St Barnabas will hold a Church Weekend Away on 1st to 3rd July, but with a difference, we’ll be based at Home. This will involve the following things:

–        Friday 1st July 6.30pm to 9.30pm Church Family Ceilidh

–        Saturday 2nd July 10am to 12.30pm Seeking the Shalom of the City – led by Steve Sutton, (Pastor of Coulby Newham Baptist Church)

–        Saturday 2nd July 2.30pm onwards – meet at Saltburn Beach for sandcastles, scavenger hunt, football, rounders, cricket and just lazing around

–        Sunday 8 am, 9.30 am and 1115 am worship followed by ‘Church Lunch’ – a great opportunity to enjoy fellowship and good food.

After many months when gathering has been difficult, it is great to make the most of opportunities to come together. Please put these dates in the diary and come along!
