This is what love is: it is not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the means by which our sins are forgiven. – 1 John 4:10

You’re invited to celebrate Easter with us! Join us as we celebrate here at St Barnabas Church with a range of services and activities over the Easter period. A full list of what’s on at St Barnabas can be found below.

Holy Week Devotionals (25th March – 31st March)

During this Holy Week we want to make space to reflect and journey towards the cross and the resurrection. Each day at 8am we will have a passage from scripture, a short reflection, and a song recorded by some of our worship team. Our prayer is that you would use this opportunity to pause and reflect on key Easter scriptures, and as you do you would have fresh encounters with the Risen Jesus.

You can find all of our videos here and on our YouTube page.

Palm Sunday – 24th March

We have a special guest joining us on Palm Sunday – come along in the morning to our 9.30 and 11.15 services to meet them!

Worship Night: Maundy Thursday – 28th March

Worship night – 7:00PM – Midnight

Join us in church from 7:00PM on Maundy Thursday. We start with communion in the same way Jesus with his Apostles did on the night of the Last Supper. Immediately after communion we will continue in worship and prayer together up to midnight as we await Good Friday.

Good Friday – 29th March

Family Easter Crafts – 10:00AM – 12:00PM

Join us at 10:00AM for our Family Easter celebration with cakes, crafts, stories and puppets all happening here at St Barnabas Church!

An Hour By The Cross – 2:00PM – 3:00PM

Join us in church at 2PM on Good Friday as we have a time of prayer and reflection in the main building.

Here we can gather and reflect on everything that has happened in the last year and commemorate the incredible sacrifice Jesus made for us all.
