All of our volunteers at the Dementia Friendly Musical Café have achieved their Dementia Awareness certificates. So, Chris McGregor, James Cawdell and Ann Self (along with other local groups) were invited to receive our certificate from the Mayor, Chris Cooke, at the Leonardo Hotel in town. The group heard about the lengths some families go to in looking after their loved ones, some travelling quite a distance every day, and about ways other groups around Teesside are supporting Dementia Friendly activities with the help of Teesside Dementia UK.
