On Sunday mornings across July and August we will follow the Old Testament. In the first three weeks of July we explore the short but meaningful book of Ruth. Ruth points us towards King David and, through him, to our true King, Jesus Christ.

Then, across the school holidays we hear the story of Moses and the liberation of Israel. It is the story of how God meets people, liberates people and enables them to become the people they are meant to be.

In the evenings at 6.30pm, we will take up the psalms. This is the ‘songbook’ of the Old Testament. These were songs of faith which Jesus knew very well and from which he often quoted. They have nurtured faith across centuries and can do so for us.
