Student Worker – St Barnabas Church, Middlesbrough

St Barnabas Church, Middlesbrough is a lively evangelical Anglican church of 300+ people. We are keen to recruit an enthusiastic and faith-filled person to join our staff team as Student Worker, to take forward our growing student work. We work with students from many different nationalities and we are passionate about Jesus and his good news and sharing God’s love by word and deed. This is a part-time post, 16 hours per week during term time and 8 hours a week out of term. The salary is the real living wage, which equates to c. £9000 per annum based on the 2025 real living wage.

The successful candidate will combine:

• A passion for Jesus and his church
• A heart for students of all nationalities and backgrounds and seeing them grow in faith
  and as people
• the ability to nurture and release the gifts of others
• being a strong team player with excellent people skills
